Things we take for donation
Do you have books or CDs you no longer need or want? We work with several non profits in the Delaware and Marryland area. We donate books to shelters, childrens hospitals, and anyone else who is in need of books. This is a great option for anyone who is moving, clearing out the contents of an estate, closing a store, or just books or media you no longer want.
The benefit to donating is that we will come to your location and pick up the books for free as long as it is 5 boxes or more. If you have less than five, we may still be able to arrange a pickup at a location most convenient for you. No amount of books is too large.
It doesn’t matter if you’re donating to help others or just free up space, we will come to you and put in the work to find a good home for your books. Simply call [PHONE NUMBER] or email info@sellyourbooks.store to arrange a pickup.

Books must be in reasonable condition. Highlighting or markings are not ideal, but we can still take those books if the rest of it is intact. Examples of books we cannot take are those with loose spines, mold or mildew, missing pages, and books that have water damage.
Up to 80% of book donations go directly to non-profits who are able to use them. Currently we donate to:
- Local Libraries
- Goodwill
- Childrens Hospitals
- YMCA
- Local schools
